Get to know the city a little more intimately with our walking tour through Gorky Street, also known as Tverskaya. It's considered the main street of the Soviet capital, beginning at Red Square and making its way to Mayakovsky Square (Triumphalnaya).
You'll learn about this street's historical significance, as it was once the site of the November street parades, as well as the May Day demonstrations. Plus, it's also the street that today houses some of the most impressive Soviet and government buildings, as well as the most popular museums, theatres, hotels and stores. Heading below ground, you'll discover six world-famous Moscow Metro stations, which resemble beautiful underground palaces.
The recommended tour time is approximately 3 hours.
